2 Surprises in 1

Thursday Sept 15th, my 27th bday came around and what I thought was going to be a calm day turned into quite the event.

Earlier in day as you know we had an ultrasound and had an amazing time.

Later in the evening Sean had set up dinner at a bbq joint with the moms. We arrive at about 6:30pm and start to walk in. Just as I open the door and look around, I notice my dad and his wife Barb who have flown in just for the week. What a surprise :)

The second thing for the night was that we had planned on telling the moms that we were expecting, and then telling the rest of the family after dinner. I had prepared a little package which included a photo and a note from baby Plunkett.

Sean, the great husband that he was helped to plan the surprise of my dad coming into town and couldn't tell me that "hey, your dad will also be at dinner, you might want to make 3 pictures." But it was awesome to have my dad at dinner to also let him know that a grandchild would be arriving in April. It was a special night.
