Telling the Doctor about our "boo boo"

So as you can imagine we might have been told to wait a little bit after our miscarriage to start trying again. With a little bit of research, I found that the only reason for "waiting" was to acuratly calculate the due date.

Should our Dr's orders have been for medical reason, I might have obeyed but we also weren't expecting to have things happen so soon either. Oops!

So with a wrist slap expected any time soon, I picked up the phone and called the Dr. The first question they ask you is when was your last cycle. I had to break the news....expecting the wrist slap, the only thing I got was,..."you'll just have to have an ultrasound when your levels reach a certain number so we can measure the baby and determine the due date."

With such news in hand, I was relieved. We then set our next few appointments in hopes that we would be able to reach those dates without complication and a lab slip sent in the mail to confirm that we were in fact expecting.
